Will Warren has been married to his wife, Jamie, for almost 22 years. They are both originally from Taylor County, Kentucky. They have two sons, Brodie (20) and Gradie (16). He graduated from Campbellsville University in May 1999; and Johnson University in August 2002.  He has a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Bible and a Double Specialty in Youth Ministry and Preaching. 

Will currently is serving at Kentucky Christian Academy where he has serves as a Middle School teacher. Prior to that he and his family lived near San Diego, CA where he served as the Lead Pastor of the Christian Church of Lemon Grove from October 2010 until October 2024.  Prior to that he served at the Southern Heights Christian Church; and the Jessamine Christian Church in Kentucky as well as Woodlawn Christian Church here in Campbellsville.


Will will be preaching on Sunday, October 19th. We will have a congregational meeting immediately following the 10:30 am worship service on October 19th to vote on Will as our next preaching minister. As a reminder, to be eligible to vote you need to be at least 16 years of age and have been anb active member of Campbellsville Christian Church for at least 6 months.

Frankly, it seems like an odd time to be discussing The Lord’s Prayer. Shouldn’t we focus on fighting for justice? Wouldn’t time be better spent shoring up arguments for what’s right? Should not our prayers be bigger and bolder than daily bread and forgiven debts?

Perhaps. But also, perhaps not. I’ve spent a good bit of time thinking about and repeating the Lord’s Prayer the last several weeks, and grown certain of one thing: This prayer is a gift from the Living Christ to those he left behind; to us. And it wasn’t a gift to be reserved for football huddles or hurried benedictions. This prayer is a gift for such a time as this.
